Cute as a Button

I got the inspiration for this card from a sketch on Page Maps  they had originally done this for a 7x5 card but I scaled it down to a standard a2 sized card.  I made this card during my scrapbooking weekend.  Surprisingly this is the ONLY card I made.  I purchased the cricut with the intent to scrapbook but ended up jumping into the world of cards.  I have primarily made cards for the past two years it was nice to get back into the scrapbooking for the weekend.

I like the way it came out.  I will have to either weigh it or hand deliver this sucker it's a bit heavy for just 1 stamp.  I cut the circles at 1 inch and 3/4 inches and layered.  I also used the spots and dots embossing folder on the background even if it is mostly covered.

I got the buttons for this project from Joann's I got a good sized bag for about $2.50 and it came with a bunch of great colors.
