Easter 2011

Hi Crafters,

This picture of my husband and me makes me smile! My older sister caught a great candid moment.  My niece definitely steals the show here though!

Here's a layout I made for Easter 2011.  The eggs and font are cut out of Recollections glitter paper using A Child's Year.  The grass is from Plantin Schoolbook.  The little flowers are dies from the cuttlebug.  I used the Jolee's hotfix tool to add bling for the center of the flowers.

Wedding Layout

Hi Crafters,

Happy Memorial Day!  I would like to thank all those who have served and remember those who have lost lives fighting for our country.

Here's a layout I did for a wedding we attended a few weeks ago.

I used A Child's Year for the heading.  I used some cuttlebug boarders on the edges of the photomats.  I used some studio g stikles along the edge of the heading.  The gray and cream paper are from the Black Current stack from DCWV.  The purple paper is core-dinations.  The blue paper is from a Christmas DCWV solid stack.

Spring fever

Hi crafters,

I've been spinning my wheels and going no where fast! I've got a bad case of the spring slump.  I'm crafting with a friend tomorrow so hopefully that will help me snap out of it.  Here are a few layouts I made over spring break that I promised a month ago...ack!

The pages are 6x6.  This is for my mom's grandparent book.

Pictures of my "craft room"

Hi crafters,

Okay, so this isn't really my room but this is hopefully where my husband and I will be building a house in the next several months!

This has been a work in project for over a year.  It looks like we almost have everything ready to go!  We still need to apply for a building permit.  The plans are just about final and we're all set!  My husband and father in law will be building most of it themselves.  I see lots of priming and painting in my future.

Wedding Gift

Hi Crafters,

We have a wedding coming up this weekend.  Here is part of the gift we are giving them.

I used Lyrical Letters for the font and Storybook for the embellishment.
The one disadvantage to these dishes is they are not easy to wrap!  I went with the clear cellophane with some tulle and raffia in the wedding colors.

This is the card I made to stick the giftcard in.  The ring set is from Designer Calendar.  I was quite pleased to find this cut because the bride-to-be has a 3 stone ring.

I've been on break this past week so I've had lots of crafting opportunities.  Pictures and updates to come this week!

More Walk in my Garden

Hi Crafters,
Have you entered for a chance to win 3 stamps sets?  Enter by Friday for a chance to win see the Post Below to post a comment.

This post is a continuation of my post earlier in the weekend. I cut this funky little turtle from Walk in My Garden at 2 inches.  I took a scrap of the cream cardstock and ran it through the cuttlebug twice using one of the skinny boarder folders and added a quick stamp.
