Engagement Glitter Ornaments with Vinyl

Hi Crafters,

It's Monday morning! Students start school on Wednesday this week.  I am not feeling ready quite yet but ready or not here they come!  I will miss my leisurely mornings!

Here's a quick project I made for my friends who are getting married next year.

I used the Martha Stewart glitter and floor wax method to make the glitter stick to the inside.  I then used white vinyl to decorate the outside.  The ring is from Martha Stewart Elegant cakes.  The font for Jessica and Martin is Opposites Attract.  The font for Lisa and Matthew is Lyrical Letters.  The back has their engagement dates.
Have a great day and Happy Crafting,

Bulletin Boards

Hi Crafters,

I spent the week before teachers returned working on bulletin boards at my school.  If you remember last year's post my principal purchased me a cricut to keep in my lab closet in exchange for doing most of the bulletin boards in the school hallways.  Here's what I came up with this year.
This one was hard to capture due to the lighting.  The title reads 6th grade...5th grade was so last year. It has advice for 6th graders.  The cart I used for this was Locker Talk.

This is Don Juan.  The pocket charts will be used for the weekly homeroom schedule.  Each grade has a different schedule for the week.

Opposites Attract.

I used Storybook for this board.  It is delightfully tacky with the orange, yellow, gold contrast.

I used Sports Mania for the silhouettes here.  I also used this great website Block Posters to create a large poster from a picnic file I created.

This is my FAVORITE board for the year so far.  Our school is divided into teams (think Harry Potter). Students can earn points throughout the year for various things.  This board will display the point standings.  Most of the font on this board is Opposites Attract. The 1st-4th are cut using end caps on Plantin.  Go team green!

Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop

Hi Crafters,

Teachers in my district are back at school this week.  I was excited to make this card my last weekend of freedom this summer.  The stamp set is Rest and Renewal from Taylored Expressions.  I got this stamp set at the CHA Super Show this summer.

Here is the sketch I used for inspiration.

This is what I came up with...
This verse is one of my favorites!  The flowers are cut from Martha Stewart's Elegant Cake Cartridge.
Thanks for looking! Your next stop is... Sankari Wegman

ABC Album

Hi Crafters,
My friend from Crafting with my Girls hosted her semiannual scrap weekend at her parents' lovely home last weekend.  I got a few personal layouts done but my main project for the weekend was my niece's ABC album.  I used my cricut and pictures that I had ordered but not done anything with.  I only had to order 8 more pictures to finish the album.

The dinosaur is from Create a Critter.

The lighthouse is from Life's a Beach
Please pardon the fact that O and P are reversed. Octopus is from Life's a Beach
The crown is from Gypsy Wonderings
Umbrella is from Life's a Beach
Hearts and XOXO are from Sweethearts. The zebra is from Create a Critter.

Freezer Paper Totes

Hi Crafters,
Here's a few tote bags I made this week.
The font is from Lyrical Letters and the lady bug is from Walk in my Garden.  She's too young for buttons and googley eyes still so I kept it simple.  The bag is a mini tote bag so it will be perfect for this little girl.  Michael's had them on clearance for .79, it was in the section with a bunch of other summer items.
This is another gift for a bride-to-be.  I used my Jolee's Heat Affix tool to add some bling.  The swirls are from Gypsy Wonderings and the text is from Songbird.

If you are interesting in making your own freezer paper totes/tees check out my picture tutorial here.
